We continued our drive the following morning and ended in Killarney. Again, the drive was gorgeous....many colors of green, narrow windy roads, amazing landscape and something NEW and unexpected....A SHEEP IN THE ROAD!
My mom told me in an email a few days before our drive, "Les...be careful driving...be careful or sheep and cows in the road." I laughed and replied, "Yeah, sure Mom! Okay! HA! Funny." Well....Mom was right! I'm beginning to think she's always right.
Anyway, the sheep finally moved and we were on our way. We made it to Killarney and had a wonderful day. We stayed at another fancy hotel, Killarney Plaza Hotel, because we were with "Catherine from Carr Golf." She knows everyone. She is a local ALL over Ireland. It was fabulous. We met locals from everywhere.
The people in Ireland are so nice, warm and friendly. We were having a great time!
