Driving the "Ring of Kerry"

We did the "Ring of Kerry" drive. We only did half of it the first day. We stopped in Waterville. I have never seen so many shades of green in my life. Ireland has them all. You could have a whole Crayola box of green crayons....just from all the shades of green in Ireland. It is completely unbelievable. The ride was gorgeous.

Waterville is a little town right on the water. It's a beach town. We stayed in Butler Arms hotel. Catherine knows everyone. We were like rock stars traveling with her. All she had to say was "Hi, I'm Catherine from Carr Golf" and the red carpet was rolled out. It was out of control. It was awesome traveling with her. Steph and I were her groupies.

Waterville was also the vacation spot for Charlie Chaplin. He was a regular.

We loved Waterville and our hotel. That night Catherine and Steph had "fish and chips" of course! We moved to the pub after dinner (another trend....) and we met Marty Schottenheimer and 7 of his golfing buddies who just happen to be CEOs of huge companies. We had a good time. They were a riot. We were all a bit tipsy....but who isn't tipsy in Ireland?
