Horse and Buggy tour, pouring our own Guinness and Liam O'Connell!

Yes, Steph and I took a horse and carriage tour of the Killarney State Park. Did you know that Killarney has 2 state parks? Anyway, we took a tour and it was fabulous. Our tour guide (jaunting) was Michael and the horse was Napoleon. We stopped at Ross Castle too. I'm beginning to get "Castled out" I'm getting them all confused....lots of kings, queens, battles, castles, forts, etc.... My brain needs a break.

For a break we went to dinner to a wonderful restaurant at the Killeen House Hotel. Of course Catherine knew the owners...well Steph and I got to pour our own Guiness. FUN and YUM!

Oh yeah, we also randomly decided to go see Shrek 3 this day...because it was raining. I laughed out loud and I think Catherine and Stephanie were laughing at me laughing. I thorougly enjoyed the movie. I think everyone should go see it

We also saw Liam O'Connell's show. Pretty humorous. He and his band play Irish music, with Irish dancers performing. I think the average age of the audience was 70. The show was great to see (once) but Steph and I had to hold back the laughter a lot. He's more of a performer, in an odd type of way, than anything. No locals see his show, only tourists. Oh well, we were tourists so we went. Pretty funny.

We loved Killarney...horse and buggy, food, rain, parks, Guinness and even Liam!

There's really nothing not to love about Ireland.
