1. Clapping and singing for no reason....I never really got used to this.
2. Random people sitting with you at meals...I actually enjoyed this a lot.
3. Tons of activities for all ages....great for everyone.
4. Dancing and skits....a little odd for me but after the 2nd day, I loved the skits at night...so much that I left dinner early so I could see the Pirates skit. I went with a 13 year old French boy because his dad Michel, one of my trapeze friends, did not want to see the show so I took him. It was fun. I liked the show. The circus team was in the show so we were both happy. We laughed and clapped together. Oh no, what was happening to me?
5. Water aerobics instructed by people men in speedos....I will NEVER get used to this. This should NOT be allowed anywhere in the world. I had to laugh though.
6. All the trapeze tricks and some of the instruction is all in English, even if the flyer doesn't speak English. Example..."small flyer", "no lines", "ready", "layout, uprise, split, etc..."
7. People still change into swimsuits on the beach. One minute they are dressed in clothes, next they are naked, next they are in swimsuit. I saw a lot of naked people again.
8. I was happy not to each a buffet after 7 days straight. I'm not sure how all the employees do it every day.
9. Never forget your Club Med wristband...no drinks! I forgot mine one night but I was with a trapeze instructor so I was allowed to get a drink.
10. All the employees are friendly 24 hours a day. A little odd, but it's good for the guests.
11. It never rains in Kamarina. Sunny and hot everyday.
12. The best way to meet people is by doing activities. I met wonderful people doing trapeze and taking the tours.
13. Even though I was in Sicily, more people spoke French than Italian or Sicilian, because Club Med is a French company and many guests were from France.
14. You can still enjoy someone's company, even if you don't speak the same language. Smiles and laughter are the same in all languages.
