From Amsterdam...
1. WATCH OUT FOR THE BIKERS! THEY WILL RUN YOU OVER!
2. Find the parks and local areas....stay away from Dam Square. It's like Times Square.
3. It's easy to walk the city...again...beware of bikers.
4. Dutch is really hard to understand.
5. Vondel Park is my favorite place in Amsterdam.
6. Locals are nice.
7. Bring your own polish when getting a pedicure. They tend to have yucky colors. Oh yeah, you must make an appointment - no walk ins. Also, pedicures are done in a private room on a table like a massage table. Fancy! Yes, I did get a pedicure today and have an ugly color on my toes. :(
8. People do exercise in Amsterdam. The park was packed with runners and of course bikers.
9. I really like Amsterdam and would come back! Wish Mom was here with me.

I was in Amsterdam a few times & really liked it! The people are so diverse; the city was really cool; the country-side was neat w/wooden shoe shops & cheese factories. And, the live sex shows speak for themselves! Did you know that there are more museums per square mile in Amsterdam than almost anywhere else in the world?! But, yes, that includes the Marijuana Museum & Sex Museum...
