I just finished the bike tour through Tuscany. It was a fabulous week. I am back in Florence now at the same internet cafe where I was last week.
To Liz, Mark, Joelle and Doug...Thank you for an amazing week. Thanks for your patience with me...as a new rider. It was great to spent 6 days and nights with you. Lots of fun! Have a safe trip home. No grappa!
Today in Florence, I felt like a local. I did laundry at a laundromat, had lunch at a local restaurant and someone actually asked me directions. Funny.
I leave tomorrow to go to Grado, Italy to begin my Italian language classes. I will be attending classes twice a day (a few hours in the morning and a few in the afternoon) for 2 weeks. This should be pretty funny. Carmela, thank you for the recommendation...I think I'm going to like Grado. I'm very excited.
