So...I realized that it's okay to be a tourist so I signed up for 2 tours. I took "The Original Florence Walk" in the morning and then I took "The Original David" tour in the afternoon.
I never really knew that I could get into art and architecture, but I did! I had a great day. I met really nice people on my tours too but still no hot men. Caitlin and Max were a nice couple I met from the US. I hope they read this - hi!
Oh, there was one really annoying family on my first tour. Everyone wanted to kick them - wow, maybe that was harsh - be we all wanted them out of our tour. They were loud, obnoxious and rude. They always had to be in the front and they talked over the guide. There is always one (in this case 3) in a tour group. Even with the annoying family, I really enjoyed my tour. I went all over the city and learned a lot about Florence and the history of the city.
The evening tour of The David by Michelangelo, was fantastic. It's amazing to see it up close. WOW! Thank goodness....no annoying families on that tour.
Dinner that night...guess what....more pasta! YUM!
